Sucrose, maltose, lactose and so on belong to common oligosaccharides, which can be digested and absorbed by the body; oligoisomalto-oligosaccharides, oligofructose, oligo xylose and so on belong to functional oligosaccharides, which can't be digested and absorbed by the body, but enter the human body's intestines directly to be utilized by the bifidobacteria and other beneficial bacteria, and they are the proliferation factors of beneficial bacteria.

As consumers' health concerns continue to rise, the application of oligosaccharides in food and beverages will become more widespread. Working Principle of Oligosaccharide Pressure Spray Granulating Dryer

(1)Material atomization: the filtered oligosaccharide liquid material is sent into the pressure atomizer under the high pressure of 2~20MPa, and the atomizer disperses the liquid material into numerous tiny mist droplets, so that the surface area of the liquid material is greatly increased.
(2) Fog particles and hot air contact: fog droplets sprayed from the atomizer are then in full contact with the filtered and heated hot air, which usually enters the drying tower by the hot air distributor on the top cover and produces a downward streamline air flow, while the fog droplets are sprayed from below upward into the hot air flow. The two in the drying chamber to parallel flow down the way for heat exchange.
(3) Drying into particles: Due to the large contact area between the droplets and the hot air, the moisture in the droplets evaporates and dries rapidly under the action of the hot air, and at the same time, the droplets form a spherical shape due to the action of surface tension, and with the continuous evaporation of moisture, the droplets gradually shrink to form a dry spherical granular powder.
(4) Finished product collection: the spherical particles of powder formed in the drying tower gradually settled, separated from the hot air, most of the powder collected by the bottom of the tower discharge port, while the finer particles of material and the drying air is extracted by the upper part of the funnel shaped connected to the extractor fan to enter the dust removal system, separated by the cyclone separator, the exhaust air from the extractor fan, the powder collected by the lower end of the powder grants the cylinder located in the cyclone separator, the fan outlet can also be equipped with a The outlet of the fan can also be equipped with a secondary dust removal device to further improve the recovery rate, usually the recovery rate is above 96%~98%.

Oligosaccharide pressure spray granulation dryer performance characteristics

(1)Fast drying speed: the surface area of material liquid is greatly increased after atomization, and 95%~98% of water can be evaporated instantly in the hot air stream, and it takes only ten to tens of seconds to complete the drying, which is especially suitable for drying of heat-sensitive oligosaccharides, and it can effectively retain the performance and quality of oligosaccharides.
(2)Excellent product quality
Good particle form: the obtained products are spherical particles with uniform particle size and good mobility and solubility, which is very important for the application of oligosaccharides in the fields of food and health care products, e.g., in instant drinks, the oligosaccharides particles with good solubility can be dissolved quickly and dispersed uniformly.
High purity: In the drying process, the oligosaccharide is in full contact with hot air, the water evaporates rapidly and the impurities are not easy to remain, thus ensuring the purity and quality of the product.
(3)Efficient separation and collection system
High-efficiency cyclone separator: Optimize the structural design of the cyclone separator, such as adjusting the separator's diameter, height, inlet and outlet shapes and angles, and other parameters to improve its separation efficiency, so that the dried oligosaccharides particles can be separated from the exhaust gases more thoroughly, reducing product loss and improving the recovery rate. At the same time, new wear-resistant materials are used to manufacture the inner wall of the cyclone separator to prolong its service life and reduce equipment maintenance costs.
Tail gas treatment and recovery: Increase the tail gas purification devices, such as bag filter, activated carbon adsorber, etc., to carry out in-depth treatment of the discharged exhaust gas, remove the dust and odor in it, so as to make it meet the environmental protection emission standards and reduce the pollution to the environment. In addition, the heat energy in the exhaust gas can also be recycled, such as through the heat exchanger will be used to preheat the waste heat in the exhaust gas to preheat the cold air or materials entering the dryer, to improve the comprehensive utilization rate of energy.
(4)Easy operation and control
Easy to operate: the operation of the equipment is relatively simple, only need to feed the pre-treated oligosaccharide liquid material into the equipment, set the relevant process parameters, such as pressure, temperature, flow, etc., you can start the equipment for drying operations, without the need for complex operating skills and experience.
High degree of automation: it is easy to realize automated operation. By equipping advanced control system, it can monitor and automatically adjust the temperature, pressure, flow rate and other parameters in the drying process in real time to ensure the stability of the drying process and the consistency of the product quality, which reduces the manual intervention and improves the production efficiency and the stability of the product quality.
